While we’re waiting for more info from Matt on his new music, what are some covers you would love to hear him do? We all know how his covers are often times better than the original. I loved these, but also “Part-Time Lover” (the best of them), “Let’s Get It On” and “Who’s Loving You”. Not sure he should sing “Let’s Get It On” in a concert at a church, though.
yes! those are my 3 favorite matt “idol” performances! funny you should say that…i was wondering the other day if he’d be toning it down because it’s in a church. oy…i wish i could go so badly…darn you, MI, why are you so far away?
also, i was at work today and “ready for love” by india.arie got stuck in my head and, while i don’t necessarily identify the message of the song with matt, i think his vocals would be AMAZING on it…and especially with the piano, it’d be beautiful.
