street team mission – flier design

Hey everyone! If you haven’t already, please visit http://reverbnation.com/mattgiraudmusic and join Matt’s official street team! There are already several great street team projects going on. So jump in and help spread the word!

I know there are several creative Matt fans out there who might be interested in this specific design contest. Read the guidelines below. I look forward to see what ideas you all come up with!

Mission Title: Flier Design Contest.
Measurement: N/A from 10/28/2009 to 11/05/2009

Flier contest design rules:

You must include Matt’s Twitter, MySpace, Reverb Nation, and Facebook Fan Page URLs.

Accepted formats include pdf, jpeg, and links are also accepted.

Send finished fliers to MattGiraudStreemTeam@gmail.com with Flier mentioned in the title.

The short time frame is due to the need for great fliers to be distributed immediately at any and all concerts attended.

The chosen flier will be uploaded to this page, his Fan Page on Facebook, MySpace, and linked on Twitter. The flier may also be used in future missions for a distributing contest.

Top 10 – Do the Duuuu photo contest!

After reviewing over 60 submissions, we have finally narrowed it down to a Top 10! This was an extremely difficult decision after receiving so many wonderful photographs. Thanks to everyone who submitted a photo. It was great to see all the faces coming together to support the “duuuu” face originator, Matt Giraud!

Each person is allowed to vote for their two favorite photos on the following poll. The runner-up (photo with the second-highest number of votes) will receive an autographed picture of Matt Giraud doing the “duuu” face. The winner (photo with the highest number of votes) will also receive an autographed photo, as well as a very special GRAND PRIZE!

Do the “Duuuu!” – Photo Contest

Calling all Matt Giraud fans: Since “duuuuu” (short for ‘dude’) has quickly become a Matt Giraud trademark expression, we thought it would only be appropriate to hold a contest to see who can “Do the Duuuu” the best! So get ready to put on your best “duuuuu” face!

Directions:

  1. Take a picture of yourself doing the “duuuu” face.
  2. Upload to Twitpic or Photobucket.
  3. Leave a comment on this post with a link to your photo.

Judging:

  1. Photo submissions will be accepted until 11:59 pm on Saturday, Oct. 17th.
  2. The photos will be reviewed and a Top 10 will be chosen on Oct. 18th
  3. The Top 10 photos will be voted upon by the public through an open poll on this site. (Voting will be limited to one vote per person)
  4. The photo with the most votes by 11:59 pm Saturday, Oct. 24th will be the “Do the Duuuu” contest winner!

Prizes:

The RUNNER-UP will receive an autographed photo of Matt’s famous “duuuu face.”

The WINNER will receive an autographed photo + an additional very special prize.
